We spent our holiday with a couple of friends in November at Monte das Marés. The mood, the peace, the light and the atmosphere really blew us away. The location of the house alone was really worth its weight in gold - you could enjoy the most beautiful sights in no time at all. And as soon as we came back, the warm ambience of the house welcomed us. An all-round successful holiday, we can recommend everything without reservation. Thanks to Nele and Fred for the lovely welcome.

We spent the first week of July with Nele and Fred with our two small children (3 and 1 year old) and were overwhelmed. The house is a dream. An incredibly creative combination of old and new, of simple minimalism and traditional details. There are two almost identical bedrooms and bathrooms and a very well-equipped kitchen (finally sharp knives!). There is also a huge roof terrace with BBQ facilities. There are many beaches that can be reached by car in 25-40 minutes. Nele and Fred are the perfect hosts with lots of ideas and inspiration for the area and help with everything you need. Our stay gave our children a great time with the huge area, outdoor shower and us lots of ideas and inspiration. We would love to come back. It was perfect. Thank you for everything, dear Nele and dear Fred!

A house - an event! Our children (14, 15) and we enjoyed every minute of our stay in this incredibly tasteful house. The former farmhouse is wonderfully designed and furnished down to the smallest detail. The peace and quiet on the large property, the views from the roof terrace, cooking in the spacious kitchen - all this and much more will remain in our memories. Nele and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful.

We were very touched by the place: wonderful views and insights, enjoyable moments and lots of inspiration that we were able to take with us after four days in Nele and Fred's "Bijoux". And the wool blanket from Nele's studio continues to warm us on cool evenings. We would love to come back!
